These Terms of Use govern the use of the Dengi mobile app ("Dengi", "the app"). Dengi was formerly called Dove. By downloading Dengi and creating an account you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use Dengi.
1. Dengi and us
Dengi is a dating app where you meet real people by chatting with an AI matchmaker. "We" means the company that operates Dengi:
MOZ GROUP TEKNOLOJİ BİLİŞİM SANAYİ VE DIŞ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ
E-mail: dengi@neuros.com.tr
Web: https://dengi.neuros.com.tr
You can always reach us via Settings → Support → Help → Write to us in the app or at dengi@neuros.com.tr.
2. Who can use Dengi
- You must be at least 18. People under 18 can't use Dengi. Your date of birth is taken at sign-up and can't be changed later. We close accounts of people who tell the matchmaker they are under 18 or who appear to be.
- You give true information about yourself: your real name, correct age and gender, real neighbourhood and job, and your own recent photos. You have one account. Your account is personal and can't be transferred or sold.
- To be introduced to anyone you need to pass a short selfie verification and get a blue tick. Accounts that don't complete verification are not proposed to anyone.
- People whose account was closed for serious breaches of our rules can't sign up again.
3. How Dengi works
- At sign-up you choose your gender and date of birth. Your matchmaker is set by the gender you choose and never changes: men talk with Hikmet abi, women with Saadet abla. Both are AI.
- The matchmaker gets to know you by chatting: your name, neighbourhood, job, what you're looking for, your deal-breakers, your photos and your selfie verification. What you say is written to your profile and preferences; you can also correct it in My profile and Preferences.
- When there is a real member who suits you, the matchmaker tells you about them with a card. Tap the card to see their profile.
- You decide by writing to the matchmaker; there are no buttons for this in the app. If the matchmaker doesn't understand your answer, it asks again. If you say yes, it asks the other side.
- It passes the other side's answer on to you. It may put it kindly, but it never changes the meaning and never makes up a reason.
- If you both say yes, a separate chat with that person opens in your Chats list.
- We describe you in the same way, only to people found suitable for you (details: Privacy Policy, "What we share when we describe you to someone"). Nobody can write to you before the matchmaker asks you.
If nobody suits you, the matchmaker says so plainly and lets you know when someone new comes along. Proposals are not guaranteed every day.
4. Use of AI
- The matchmaker is AI, not a real person. It says so in the first conversation and again whenever you ask.
- The matchmaker introduces only real members. It never mentions a person who doesn't exist, an answer that wasn't given or an event that didn't happen (for example "someone asked about you"). Its messages are checked automatically against this rule before they are sent.
- Because the matchmaker is AI, it can make mistakes: it may misunderstand, misremember or give unhelpful advice. If you think it got something important wrong, tell it, correct it in My profile or write to us.
- The matchmaker's advice (what to write, what to talk about on a date) is only a suggestion; it is not professional, psychological, legal or medical advice. You make your own decisions.
- The matchmaker never writes or sends messages to the person you're introduced to on your behalf, and it never buys anything.
- Dengi does not guarantee a match, a date or a relationship. Proposals are made automatically by comparing profile details and preferences; they are not a scientific measure of compatibility.
- If you think an automated assessment had a result against you, you can object and reach a person via Settings → Support → Help → Write to us.
- The matchmaker's replies are improved with general rules learned from users' reactions that contain no personal data (details: Privacy Policy, "How the matchmaker learns").
- Nothing such as orientation, ethnicity, religion, health or attractiveness is inferred from your photos or what you write.
5. Matchmaking rules
- You use the details and photos of the person the matchmaker tells you about only to decide whether to meet them. You may not save them, share screenshots or share them with anyone outside Dengi.
- The matchmaker passes on your "no" kindly. Pressing someone who said no, trying to reach them another way or approaching them again with a fake account is forbidden.
- Phone numbers, usernames, links and addresses can't be shared in an introduction chat; such messages are not sent. You get to know each other on Dengi first.
- If someone bothers you, just write to the matchmaker. It listens and, if you want, closes the conversation; you are never introduced again to the person from a closed conversation. The other side is not told who complained or what they wrote.
- Behaviour signals from introductions can affect who is proposed to whom (details: Privacy Policy, "Behaviour signals").
- Trying to use the matchmaker to learn other people's personal details, trick the system or make it break its rules is forbidden.
6. Your account and content
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure. If you think someone accessed it without permission, write to us right away.
- The photos, texts and messages you share belong to you. So that we can provide Dengi (describing you to candidates, moderation and safety, for example) you give us a free, non-transferable permission limited to the service to use this content. The permission ends when you delete your account; legal retention obligations remain.
- You are responsible for everything you share being true, yours and lawful.
7. Community guidelines
When you use Dengi you follow the Community Guidelines. They are part of these Terms of Use and can be found in the app under Settings → Support → Legal → Community Guidelines.
8. Moderation, enforcement and appeals
- Profiles, photos, chats with the matchmaker and messages with people you're introduced to may be scanned by automated systems for safety; when there is a report or a safety signal they may be reviewed by human moderators.
- When rules are broken we act proportionately: a warning, not being proposed to certain people for a while, removing content, a temporary restriction or closing the account permanently.
- In serious cases such as being under age, threats, sexual violence, asking for money and fraud, an account can be restricted immediately until the review ends.
- You can appeal any decision via Settings → Support → Help → Write to us. A different person from the one who made the first decision reviews your appeal.
9. Paid plans and purchases
- Dengi's basic use is free: chatting with the matchmaker, a limited number of introductions a day, introduction chats and all safety features. Dengi Plus and Dengi Gold memberships offer extra features, for example finding out who asked about you without waiting, more introductions a day, your news reaching the other side first, sending a greeting with your own note and changing the app icon. Free members still find out who asked about them after 24 hours.
- Prices don't depend on gender or age. Some flows may work differently on the two sides to keep the community balanced. Whether a feature is paid for you and what it costs is shown clearly before you buy.
- The matchmaker may suggest a paid feature in the chat. A purchase only happens on the store payment screen that opens after you agree, showing the price and terms, and only with your confirmation. The matchmaker only says something like "someone asked about you" when it really happened, and never pushes you to buy with misleading or pressuring words.
- One-time purchases are added to your account when bought and are used up when used. A feature you buy doesn't guarantee the other side will say yes; if they say no or delete their account, a used credit is not restored. Your statutory rights and the store's refund rules remain.
- Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store and are subject to that store's terms. Price, period and renewal information is shown before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the period ends. Cancelling is easy: in the app Settings → Membership → Manage or cancel subscription takes you straight to the store's cancellation page; you don't need to talk to anyone or give a reason. Cancellation and refunds are handled in your store account. After cancelling, your membership stays active until the end of the period.
- Safety features are never paid.
10. Dates and safety
Dengi verifies its members and monitors their behaviour, but it can't guarantee anyone's offline behaviour. The matchmaker's date advice doesn't provide that guarantee either. For first dates choose a public place, use your own transport and tell someone close to you. If someone bothers you, write to the matchmaker or choose the "Safety" topic in Settings → Support → Help → Write to us. In an emergency call 112.
11. Deleting your account
- You can delete your account in Settings → Delete account; you don't need to talk to the matchmaker for this. Your account is hidden at once and not proposed to anyone; if you come back within 30 days it is reopened, after that your data is permanently deleted. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
- We may close your account if you breach these terms seriously or repeatedly.
12. Limitation of liability
We provide Dengi "as is". We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the matchmaker will always understand correctly, or that a certain number of proposals, matches or a relationship will result. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for members' behaviour towards each other or for indirect damages. This limitation doesn't remove your rights under consumer law.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. We announce important changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Dengi after a change means you accept the current terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For consumer disputes, Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction within the legal limits.
15. Contact
